CANADA FIGHTING AND BOXE QUÉBEC RENEW THEIR PARTNERSHIP
PRESS RELEASE
CANADA FIGHTING AND BOXE QUÉBEC RENEW THEIR PARTNERSHIP
MONTRÉAL, Monday, September 28, 2026 — Building on the success of their first year of collaboration, Canada Fighting and Boxe Québec (FQBO) are proud to announce the renewal of their partnership. This renewed agreement will allow both organizations to continue their shared commitment to the development of amateur boxing, the support of athletes and the growth of Québec’s next generation of boxing talent.
A collaboration built on a shared vision
When Canada Fighting and Boxe Québec first joined forces in September 2025, their objective was clear: to combine their expertise and presence within the boxing community to make a meaningful contribution to the development of Olympic-style boxing in Québec.
Following a successful first season, the positive results of the collaboration naturally led both organizations to continue their partnership for a second season.
With more than 15 years of experience in the combat sports industry, Canada Fighting remains committed to putting its expertise, equipment and involvement at the service of Québec’s boxing community. The renewal of this agreement also reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining an active presence alongside athletes, coaches, officials, clubs and everyone who contributes to the advancement of the sport.
“After our first experience alongside Boxe Québec, renewing our partnership was a natural decision. We had a very positive first year, had the opportunity to be present at events and witnessed firsthand all the work being done to move our sport forward. Québec has an incredible amount of talent, and for us, continuing to support the next generation is important.”
— Douggy Berneche, President, Canada Fighting
Beyond an agreement between two organizations, this partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to fostering an environment where Québec boxers can continue to develop and progress.
“At the end of this first year, we can clearly see that Canada Fighting’s involvement has delivered tangible benefits to our community. Its support through competition equipment, contributions to our events, assistance provided to Team Québec, and benefits offered to our members have directly enhanced the environment in which our athletes, clubs and events operate. Beyond the material support, we particularly value Canada Fighting’s willingness to be actively involved in the boxing community and to contribute to the development of the next generation. This first year has allowed us to build a strong collaboration, and we are pleased to continue this partnership for the coming season.”
— Kenneth Piché, Executive Director, Fédération québécoise de boxe olympique
This new chapter begins with a strong sense of continuity and great enthusiasm for the events ahead. Canada Fighting and Boxe Québec intend to build on the achievements and successes of their initial collaboration while continuing their commitment to the growth of Olympic-style boxing and the promotion of Québec boxing talent.
