
Kim Clavel Crowned World Champion Once Again

This Saturday, Kim Clavel (22-2, 3 KOs) made history in Quebec boxing by becoming the first woman to be crowned world champion in two different weight divisions. She defeated IBF minimumweight champion Sol Cudos (10-1-2, 3 KOs). Thanks to her speed and precision, the Quebec native secured a wide unanimous decision (99-91 x 2, 98-92). It was her debut under the banner of Jake Paul and Most Valuable Promotions. Looking ahead, Clavel stated after the fight that she wants to face WBC champion Yokasta Valle, who was in attendance to witness her triumph.
Tammara Thibeault earns first victory on Quebec soil
In the co-main event, former Olympian Tammara Thibeault (4-0, 3 KOs) wasted no time, knocking out her opponent Cristiana Mazzotta (1-1, 0 KOs) in the opening minute of the bout with a vicious left straight. A statement performance for Thibeault in front of the Quebec crowd.
Akdeniz shines on DAZN
In a pivotal showdown, Mazlum Akdeniz (22-0, 9 KOs) delivered an impressive performance live on DAZN, scoring a TKO victory over previously undefeated Anthony Soto (13-1-1, 8 KOs). The Quebecer excelled at close range, dominating in the clinch with his uppercut and rear hook, repeatedly rocking his opponent. After four rounds, the referee stopped the fight. This win comes at a crucial moment for Akdeniz, who is now aiming for major international opportunities.
