Aubin-Mercier collects a second million

By Vincent Morin

Quebec mixed martial arts (AMM) fighter Olivier Aubin-Mercier (21-5) won a second Professional Fight League (PFL) championship by unanimous decision (49-46, 49- 46 and 49-46) over the tough American Clay Collard (24-11) Friday in Washington.

At the end of a battle of five assaults where he notably had the advantage on the ground, Aubin-Mercier announced his possible retirement from the AMM during the post-fight interview, while receiving his second check for a million US dollars awarded to the champions of the annual PFL tournament.
