Canada Fighting Club Returns to La Tohu on January 31
By William Dumoulin
After a sold-out event at Bain Mathieu and Jessica Camara's first title defense, Canada Fighting Club has confirmed that its next gala, "Revolution 2," will take place on January 31 at La Tohu.
This card will feature the highly anticipated rematch between Alex Perron (1-0, 0 KOs) and Blaze Sylvestre (1-1, 0 KOs). On September 14, these two boxers delivered a true war in the ring at La Tohu, where Perron won by majority decision (38-36 x 2, 37-37). Sylvestre will now have the chance to avenge this sole loss of his young professional career.
True to its mission of supporting local talent and giving them the chance to shine, Canada Fighting Club will also offer Sophie Legrand, a Quebec native, the opportunity to make her professional debut on the same night.
Several familiar faces will also return: Theo Owusu (5-0-1, 3 KOs), Sammy Morisset (1-0, 1 KO), and Marcy Chery (0-1, 0 KOs) will be back in action after fighting on the undercard of the Camara-Hunter gala.
More surprises will round out this card, which will feature a mix of local and international boxing. The full card will be revealed soon, and tickets will go on sale on Friday, October 25 at 7:00 AM via La Tohu's ticket office.
