Canada Fighting Club presents “Découverte” Quebec boxing in the spotlight
Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec — Canada Fighting Club will present a professional boxing gala on April 17 at Salle Jean-Michel-Bergot in Sainte-Thérèse. This event will showcase Quebec’s rising talent in professional boxing in a competitive and spectacular environment. The evening will be headlined by Victor Tremblay (2-0, 2 KOs), one of the promising prospects who shares his talent and passion for boxing at his gym in Boisbriand.
The gala aims to provide a platform for emerging talent, and selecting Victor Tremblay to headline the event was an obvious choice. The 21-year-old prospect made his professional debut in May 2025 and will be stepping into the ring for his third fight on April 17. He will be looking to complete a hat trick as he headlines for the first time in his career against Greek boxer Paris Stravopoulos (6-3, 2 KOs). Although Stravopoulos brings more professional experience than Tremblay, the latter promises his fans a performance to remember;
“I’m aware that an opportunity like this early in my career is rare, and I’m ready to seize it. My goal is simple: deliver a dominant performance, make a statement, and rise to the occasion!
I would also like to thank Canada Fighting for this incredible opportunity. Performing in front of my community, here at home, is special, and I intend to make the most of it to ensure this night is truly memorable.”
The fight card promises to deliver several high-level matchups featuring local talent. Notably, an eight-round bout between Théo Owusu (7-1-1, 5 KOs) and Keshan Jacoby Koaly (8-2-1, 3 KOs), who has been based in Pointe-Claire since arriving from France. This matchup is expected to be explosive, as Owusu looks to bounce back from his first professional loss, while Koaly aims to secure his first victory on Quebec soil.
Montreal-based Christopher Missengue (3-1), who made a strong impression in his Montreal debut, will face Winner Bondo (3-0), who will be looking to preserve his undefeated record at all costs. This six-round super lightweight bout is expected to be both strategic and explosive.
On the women’s side, two Quebec athletes who made their respective professional debuts on previous Canada Fighting Club cards will return — this time to face each other. Southpaw Natali Fagan (1-1) will take on Sophie Legrand (0-1) in a bout that will highlight the talent and determination of both fighters.
Additional fights will be announced at a later date. Canada Fighting Club invites the public to come out and support the next generation of talented local athletes and experience an evening full of excitement. Tickets are currently available online at the following link: https://bit.ly/CF17avril .
